The Bafang 500W Front Hub Kit (FMG020) comes with all of the necessary parts to convert just about any bike (must have an Open-Slotted Front Fork) to transform your bike into a high-powered electric bike! Our front hub e-bike kit is a high-performing, lightweight, quiet, fast, hill-climbing, well-engineered electric bike kit. The Front Hub Motor Kit is one of the fastest and easiest installation and conversions possible as the wheel motor comes pre-built and ready to ride!

Disc and V-Brake Compatible

To make installtion super easy our front hub e-bike kit works with just about all front brake styles from Disk brakes to Caliper & V-brakes! All of our e-bike front wheel conversion kits come standard with replacement Mechanical Ebrake Levers to replace your current mechanical levers. We also offer optional Ebrake Sensors if you prefer to keep your existing brake levers or have hydraulic brakes.

Maxxis Pace Tire

These aren"t your run of the mill thin and cheap tires. This Front Hub Ebike kit comes with an ultra-high performance puncture resistant 2.1" MAXXIS Pace Tire (MSRP $60) in order to provide peace of mind while you are out there riding! The rim is made with 12 Gauge black spokes and is ready for wear and tear.

Throttle and Pedal Assist Power

The Bafang Front Hub Motor offers both throttle and pedal assist power. You can always use the throttle in order to engage the motor if you want to take a break from pedaling! These Front Hub Motors have a suprising amount of torque and are fast as they are designed to be able to go 20+ MPH!

Pedal Assist Sensor

This complete front wheel electric bike kit includes 2 types of Pedal Assist Sensor (PAS) options for your installation convenience. The Pedal Assist Sensor (PAS) is a cadence sensor and allows you to choose the power level of motor assistance that you would like while pedaling via the PAS Level setting on the display. 

Controller

This is the newest Bafang 500W Front Hub Motor with a "rated power" of 500 watts, however is capable of  maximum power of more than 864 watts with the included 18amp Controller paired with a 48V battery

Installation Hardware

Our e-bike front hub conversion kit includes all of the the necessary hardware and equipment to install our Front Hub Motor on your bike. There are exta add-ons avaiable, however our baseline kit includes many of the parts which other companies peice meal out and charge more for!
