Limited Warranty Terms

First of all, customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us, and we guarantee that all our items will arrive in brand-new, working condition.

Our products come with a 90-day manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase for the original customer against all manufacturing defects

Wear and tear and user damage are not covered under warranty.

This warranty covers parts only and does not cover shipping costs or any labor costs associated with repairs.

Warranty parts will only be shipped within the continental United States.

Warranty does not cover products employed for commercial use or specialty setups with extra load (e.g., pedicabs, bike rentals, delivery vehicles, cargo bikes, tandem bikes, etc.). We are not able to provide installation or customization support for use of our products on these specialized setups (tandem bikes, pedicabs, cargo bikes, etc.), and installation and use on these specialty setups voids the warranty.

What will we do to correct problems with your products?

We will need documentation of the issue, including photos and/or videos of the issue and part(s) and serial identification numbers, in order to first try and troubleshoot the issue with you. These are DIY kits and you must be willing to do some basic troubleshooting/repair. You may also need to ship the part back for us to test in order to determine the issue. If a component is deemed to be defective or damaged without user error, damage or modification, a replacement part will be issued.

What we don't do/don't cover under warranty?

Ebike Essentials will not replace any part(s) without first seeing photos, videos and if need be receiving and testing the damaged part.

We will not replace any part damaged, modified, and/or altered by the user.

Warranty does not cover issues due to wear and tear, water damage, collisions, crashes, accidents, falls, reprogramming, blown controllers, fried motor coils, worn gears or any other customer inflicted damage.

Once you start, cutting, splicing, changing connections, soldering, reprogramming, adding grease or any 3rd party product to your connections/motor, taking apart your products, or altering and modifying the product in any way, the warranty is null and void.

Warranty is voided when pairing parts purchased form Ebike Essentials with non-Ebike Essentials purchased parts. We cannot provide troubleshooting support with items purchased from other companies. Issues can arise when attempting to pair batteries purchased from other sellers with our motor kits due to compatibility issues. Items purchased from Amazon, Ebay, and AliExpress often result in damage and premature failure.

Battery warranty does not include damage from power surges, use of improper charger, normal wear and tear, water damage, or modified/altered and/or improper connections.

We do not offer warranty service to non-original purchasers.

We will not pay for return shipping on any defective or damaged part.

Terms of Warranty

This warranty only applies to the original purchaser of Ebike Essentials products. This warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of defective parts at the sole discretion of Ebike Essentials. This warranty does not cover any damage or defects resulting from wear and tear, modifications, alterations, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use ( e.g., pedicabs, bike rentals, delivery vehicles, cargo bikes etc.), improper installation/assembly, installation of parts not originally intended or compatible with the products as sold, operator error, water damage, extreme riding or stunt riding. Ebike Essentials will not be liable and/or responsible for any damage, failure or loss caused by any unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts. In no event shall Ebike Essentials be responsible for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages, including without limitation, damages for personal injury, property damage, or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, or product liability in connection with their products.

Shipping Policy

We currently only ship to the continental USA and can only provide support to customers located in the continental United States. Orders typically ship out in 1-3 business days after an order is completed (unless explicitly specified otherwise on the product page such as a Pre-Order). A shipping confirmation email will be sent to the email address associated with the order after the order has shipped. Please wait 3 full business days after your order is completed to receive your shipping confirmation email.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Our motor kits and batteries require signature confirmation for delivery. If delivery is refused, shipping costs are non-refundable and a 10% restocking fee will be deducted (this will be withheld from any refund). For returning an item, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs and original shipping costs are non-refundable. For returns of products over $50, we recommend that you use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

We can only guarantee delivery of purchases when there are no changes or modifications during shipment. Any purchases made from our company in which a customer decides on their own accord to make any modifications directly with the shipping company (FedEx or USPS) during shipment (including but not limited to; delivery address changes, hold and or pick up requests), our company is no longer able to guarantee delivery and is not responsible for lost packages. We can only guarantee delivery of orders purchased through our company and shipped to the address which was originally provided at purchase. If any modifications are made by the customer on their own accord during the shipment process we are no longer responsible for any delivery delays or lost packages.
