The Ebrake sensors allow you to convert your already existing brakes into ebrakes which will be able to cut power to the motor when you brake. The ebrake sensors are plug and play compatible with the BBS02/BBSHD Bafang motors and Front Hub Motor.
When the magnet is touching the ebrake sensor, the ebrake is inactive allowing the motor to run. When your brake is engaged, this causes the magnet to move away from the ebrake sensor, activating the ebrake and cutting power to the motor.

Depending on the style, hydraulic brake levers do not have to move very much to be effective. My brakes have very little movement and has lever axels w/ nuts on the top and bottom of the brake lever perches. Also really have no way to gauge how far magnet needs to be from pick-up (a tool would be nice). Bottom line, the cutouts are not working, making the bike less safe.
Hopefully they work not really good spot for on my Trek break
Install went well, being winter here have not been able to get any time on them, around the block is all but can't wait to get some riding in, still installing ebrake system to hydraulic brakes thats a bit of a challeng but there are several good ideas on you tube, found one that works for my application, your install video is on a differant brake lever which mine seems to be a little differant from all the types even on youtube, appreciate the response I have recieved on any questions I have had so far. Will update when weather gets better.
